Taavi's Cuba Trip

The people are perhaps the most beautiful thing about Cuba. While standing in a square taking photos, Michael repeatedly walked by and tried, persistently but nonthreateningly, to engage me. By this point, I wasn't interested in being taken for another "tour" (for a couple of USD), but his manner was so gentle that I obliged and followed him. I ended spending a couple of hours with him, as he introduced me to his family, showed me his house and his chicken coup up on the top of the roof of the 4 storey building his apartment was in. His place was actually very spacious. Very generous people. Even had some of his homemade wine - I think I can still taste it ;)
